Save this date: Thursday March 30 at 7:00 pm all Somerville Ward Committees will be meeting at the Somerville High School to elect delegates to our State Convention.  

The Convention will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10 AM at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St, Worcester, MA 01608.

Why go?  It is the year before the Massachusetts Election for Governor and the brave democrats who are considering running against Governor Charlie Baker will be out in full force trying to woo you early to their side.  And we'll be voting on the state party platform, including any platform amendments which are introduced at the convention. It should be interesting!

If you want to run for Delegate you must be registered as a Democrat, not unenrolled/independent. Check your voting status or change your registration easily online at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/ or fill out a paper form http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elepdf/Voter-reg-mail-in.pdf and send it to city hall.
